Today, the Stock Loft Of Walter Masson, Inverallochy was attacked by a murderous villain. The carnage can be seen on the attached photos. Some of the finest old long distance bloodlines were killed in the attack. Some 18 adult and 6 young birds were killed. Only a few were eaten but nearly all had been decapitated. Killed for fun. Poor Walter is devastated with the loss of his stock and some old favourites that are now gone and cannot be replaced.

Descriptions of the “varmint†seen leaving the property would point to the dreaded Pine Martin.

Oh my god that is so heart wrenching to come see the loft like that and see favourite Pigeons killed, hope Walter can feel better and keep positive. Pine martins can be vicious buggers when it comes to doos and will come back, hope can trap it or prevent it into the loft.

Very sad to see this. Stock and favourites killed for the sake of killing. Feel sorry for you Walter. Sure you will bounce back. Your made of stern stuff.

All the best

Check out how it got in,place dead birds in a pile and lace with. Jin traps under wing flights only, and set one at enterance hole, make sure there are no scent you could boil traps and set, it might take 2 days but it will be back.
