dunc50 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Report Posted June 12, 2017 Unfit birds going anywhere is a no go never mind a nationalbit of a dilemma then
Dmurray Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Try flaging them dunc twice a day its a pain in the hole but gets them some time on the wing
moscow master Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Birds should be well fit at this time of the season if not best keep them to next year ðŸ‘
bibendium Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 I wouldnt think missing one race will make them unfit or any less fit, its what goes on weeks before that will make a differanceIMO. .
Dougie Hamilton Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Send them to Dunbar the mora with the midweek
ALF Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 How can doos be unfit at this time of the season?
b.massey Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Surely no unfit birds that are due to be going to a national We never even put ours in over weekend and was only a 2 hour 20 min race but they're fit enough

dunc50 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Report Posted June 12, 2017 Try flaging them dunc twice a day its a pain in the hole but gets them some time on the wingdave flagged them all season the neighbor thought it was gatwick he was staying at, and imo its not for us, the basket is what they need,

I don't think for a moment that unfit birds should go any where. However I think you may mean 'Race Fit'. Then yes if 'Loft Fit' and looking and playing the part, then they can be sent. Of course the knowledge you have of your' birds and distance is easy. Are they been up the road etc. will also have a bearing as to how far etc.
King billy 2 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 bit of a dilemma thenIf you're doos are not race fit by now you will struggle in a west wind if any your doos has had the last 4 races they should be ok the early doos got a good line of flight last week but some of the later ones had to fly 8 & 9 hours so a weeks rest won't doo them any harm aslong as you haven't been over feeding
King billy 2 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 dave flagged them all season the neighbor thought it was gatwick he was staying at, and imo its not for us, the basket is what they need,Remember this could be a 9hr flight into the west of Scotland
