REDCHEQHEN
George (Podgy) is an exceptional flyer George would most probably do better with my birds than I do! There is one such exceptional flyer in my club, we have won with his hens (he doesn't fly hens)He reckons we are the only people to have done well with his birds - nobody else hasThey are the best birds in our loft, all gifted, the early ones have bred winners We have no idea what breed they are (he won't say!) My point is - it doesn't matter what breed they are, it largely depends on how you race and feed them Some people will do well with certain breeds and others won't, it depends on your methods - and as podgy points out - the basket

Froog
Good birds in good hands will do what they are prepared for it doesn't matter what strain they are That is true, yet at Blackpool and other shows, you will see fanciers bidding crazy money for so called (new) strains of pigeons? I saw it at Doncaster, an auction, birds were average, ide not give them loft room, but were going for 400/500....just for the belge pedigree

I simply asked for answers to the question posed, not photos & results displayed. PS. I won't 'shut up' , until so directed by the site owner.
