Sorry should have said 1st race for 2years reason being last year it had a 10 mile toss and was ripped to bits and lay in its box unable to stand and was hand fed and was watered using a syringe for 2 weeks,the birds are out from dawn to dusk every day of the year so hoping he will reward me with another 1st sect and open result,not for the "experts"but hey ho I please me nobody else.

Hopefully get atleast four too it but a week is a long time in pigeon racing.....bt this will be my last old bird race this year...hopefully go out with a bang

Your right at one time I did but the last 2 years been trying some hens.

Going to split my 4 gold cup birds and send 2 to littlehamton , just not sure they have enough time on wing for gold cup .even my gold cup 2 are causing me a bit worry as it will be 4 weeks since last race and no training just open hole .so are they fit for it ? . Fed for it and look terrific and they are good enough I think just fitness a worry but hey it's the GOLD CUP . Good luck all .

I Still have 6 hens to choose from all 2yo

5 have had 5 races one 6

first race 121 mls through to Cheltenham about 240

Was going to toss them but they are going well at home been putting them out later each night 8 to 8-40 last night as soon as they landed opened trap and they were on nest before I could get feed in trough so fed in box spoiled lol

they have thrown first flight now about half up although golden girl has thrown first and second mortgage on her lol
