tambla51 Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Hi GUYS,JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW I HAVE HAD TOGIVE UP OUR SPORT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS(COPD AND VASCULAR RELATED PROBLEMS) THAT RESULTED IN A SHORT SPELL IN HOSPITAL DURING THE FESTIVE SEASON,GIVING ME TIME TO CONSIDER MY FUTURE WITH THE BIRDS AND THE NEGATIVE IMPACT IT WAS HAVING ON MY QUALITY OF LIFE.I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE IN THE FACT THAT I HAVE ACHIEVED MOST IF NOT ALL OF MY GOALS IN THE SPORT,BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I HAVE MADE SOME LIFELONG FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES FROM ALL OVER THE UK AND I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO WISH EVERYONEIN THE SPORT ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE AND I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE GOOD TIMES ON THE SOCIAL FRONT WITH THE MANY FRIENDS I HAVE MET OVER THE YEAR'S.REGARDS TAM BLAIR.

Rooster J. Cogburn Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 A huge loss to pigeon racing in this area and further afield. Very few fanciers equal to Tommy and none better. A magician with pigeons whose performances will be talked about as long as there's still a pigeon sport. All the best for the future Tam.
AR Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Take it easy wi you're health tam and hope you make a quick recovery. You were the benchmark for every other member of the north west fed for years with outstanding results at all distances. If you managed to get in before yer self you knew you weren't far away. All the best.
