Rooster J. Cogburn Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Did i say that? Everybody feeds good feed and has good bloodlines nowadays, location is everything...Do you not fancy your birds or system against the eyemouth boys, why ? Lol , unbelievable nonsense, join the snrpc and have half a chance... I wouldnae particularly fancy my birds or system if I was staying next door tae them, that's even with their mediocre pigeons
yeboah Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Well Done to Everyone who has timed good Doos this past YearWe can only race to our home from where we earn our livingNothing makes me happier than to get home at night from the pressures of work and enjoy being amongst the birdsGetting a good one from the nationals makes it all worth while ,at this game you only get out of it what you put in Never put someone down because of location as they also must be dedicated to continuously get amongst the leadersI personally have a wonderful team of yearlings to carry on into next season (76) at tonight's count with the hope that one can achieve my next goal of getting a right good un from the gold cup We can only Dream

DJWa Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 no need to be suprised guys this happens on here every year people that win are only winning because where they live but if someone is 60th open or there abouts in this side its hailed as the best doo in the race am sorry but i dont wear this theres no reason pigeons cant be clocked in here thers nothing to stop them in my mind and i think its disrespectful to the guys thats winning imo how can a bird thats 60th open be better than the winner ? but this is only my opinion for what its worth a coment was made on the site at one of the nationals that billys winner came out a batch 5 minutes after the 1st birds passed over him I will always remember that statement and what it means ( distance slows birds down ) these faster birds may have20,40,80, or 100 plus miles still to go

flying fifer Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Lol.....honestly. .....no much of an advert for ambition? ????? If ye canny beat them move tae a club where they dinny race??????.........hmmmmm This is maybe a bit of thread but would like to comment on.Anyone that knows me will know that I certainly don't lack ambition, but will be flying mostly in SNRPC races from now on. The reasons behind this is that IMO, the pigeons and the fanciers North of the Tay are given due consideration before the birds are liberated. As this thread has stated on a few posts you can only fly to where you are geographically situated and I would never bemoan my location, what I will do is fly with the National that gives due consideration to all.
geordie1234 Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Still no seen an answer tae my question? ???Ye will be able to ask him in person Alf up at the sale if ye go

What would you say if I argued that the snrpc is the easier option and can't be considered as a national cos no members from the north or south?

What would you say if I argued that the snrpc is the easier option and can't be considered as a national cos no members from the north or south? Iam not going for the easy option, I'm going for what I think would be best for my birds. I will still send with SNFC races that are included in my Federation programme, or races of my choosing. Time to be my own controller!!!!! It's about the birds not me.

It is a National, open to all and could be considered the easy option as it has a smaller birdage, still a hello a lot o guid doo men in the SNRPC.

calder boy Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Do the snrpc mark there birds birds for the race near NewbridgeCheery
WulDon Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 two members sent from our club to SNFC YB national, both members timed on the night... we fly with a different federation which has obviously helped... JMO
Henrik Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Dont think you can legislate for Mist that is forecast to clear but then doesnt, although that doesnt make it any better for those that didnt get a timer, also I think if the SNRPC had been racing that day they too would have liberated. Its everyones own decision who to race with and also when to send, I,ve made the wrong call twice this year, keeping them at home when they got a race, but that was my call and I dont regret it.
