Timed 2 in 15 mins at 16:55 and 17:09 along with a Maidstone pigeon, both scored twice before, glad they're home, well done to all who timed and the winners but the doos didnae stand a fckn chance and the race controller should buy a big fckn mirror. A right poor decision.....which I'll guarantee was based mostly on a wind that suited his own section. (Dingal)

well done to all that timed in great birds but I have to agree with andy one of the worst race controlling decision ive seen in the snfc we all see the forecast on the bbc it was pigeon suicide to liberate on Saturday, my :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: thoughts.

again well done to all who timed in :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Spent the last day and a half standing in front of the loft and ending in bitter disappointment with 0/2,sent our best couple of birds.

Big well done to all the chaps from PB,social circle, west section and all sections who timed and got birds home from what looks like a poor race. :partick-thistle-Crest:

John, knowing your passion for these races I can feel your pain, and you're right it was not a good race, hope the two birds turn in for you and your dad.

Ready for ma bed tonight.

Certainly not the race I had in mind. Currently have 1/4 with three of our best pigeons still amiss. Only consolation was seeing my favourite doo home, hopefully gaining her Silver Award.

Well done all that have timed and I hope more of the missing birds work in over the next day or two.

Congratulations to all that clocked in from Alencon and commiiserations to all those who are without their birds after what can only be described as one of the worst decisions ever to liberate our birds into what every fancier who had birds away knew was going to be horrendous weather conditions facing them. Human mistakes can at times be forgiven however I am positive on receiving word that a liberation had taken place we knew within our hearts that this was not going to be a competitive race but a race of luck which in all probability 90% of the members would not be favoured with. I was one of the lucky ones but my heart goes out to those who were deserted when they had hope and have lost their favourites from their loft. Years and time wasted for a decision that should have been obvious.

it will be a vote of no confidence now the weather forecast did exactly as it said on the tin :animatedpigeons:

this race should not have gone ahead on Saturday feel sorry for you guys, and all your effort that you put in there where more reasons not to go than go, the lib was late, the nationals prime race yet you could not hold anyone watching the tennis and horse racing seen the weather thunder storms give you rain and most of all hailstones and the birds would no like being there, what make this race worse is how late most of the birds are, how far did they get over this side of the channel if the opening time is 4-30 am and birds are still 12 hours away from there loft i would put them some where in and about blandford form or dorchester 1,000 gone feeding in the parks by now

the guys that held over good luck to them but they will no get it easier either. as they have the bop and heat such is racing now looking in from the out side what a shame
