First one yesterday 15 miles tossed 50 and after 5 hours I only had 16 coming back in one's and two's..........checked this morning and up too 38 hope more work in.

It's not so bad getting hit like that after a few tosses but when it was there first toss I feared the absolute worse but I'm sure more will be back by close of play tonight with some invaluable bop expierence

Later on that day two fanciers tossed at the same point libbing around 140 youngsters they watched percy chase them into the distance luckily the never broke up and all made it home in an hour

Where was this.

We have trained them hard from cooper bros garage for the past week looks like they could go a bit further so will try them from bog side tomorrow.

Only had 2 tosses from up of my hill, the doos wont batch and just flying scattered about the sky so bloody frustration.

if they are not flying as a kit they are not ready for trainig,(can you imagine what they would be like being released from a transporter with a few thousand pigeons around them.....ouch!

Am snookered at the moment, the youngsters are ready to be trained but can only take them afternoons and with temps in the high 20C's its had to be put on hold.

Probably in a straight line.

Something our birds can't do and have to learn to do a dogleg or end up in Scotland. All terrains aren't the same. :animatedpigeons:

they fly similar distances in poland and there terrain would be as harsh as any

id expect parts Germany to fly quite long too

poland even send a lot of birds to Barcelona and there returns are top class im not sure what that distance would be that would be old birds of course
