eastcoaster Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 don`t think it a great idea if they have still more than 1 flight left to moult !jmo
demolition man Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Stave yourself at the same time least your know what there going through then your know if it's a good idea or not
Guest Owen Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Have'nt you heard of fret marks? Assuming the birds are still growing their feathers you will have done them no faviours.
Guest geordiejen Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 ive never starved my birds but what i dont do is let them out after a feeding.my birds get fed a 5 every night.they have their fill and there is some left over for next morning or whenever but they all know when feeding time is.the only problem ive ever had is on yb's if they stay out after feeding time then they will go hungry.starving your birds for whatever reason can lead to stress.
cemetary Posted October 20, 2012 Author Report Posted October 20, 2012 Stave yourself at the same time least your know what there going through then your know if it's a good idea or not I have, and felt better for the next day, i never ate any more than the wife made for me. Have'nt you heard of fret marks? Assuming the birds are still growing their feathers you will have done them no faviours. Owen, its not the first time i have done this, and have seen no fret marks on the birds i have handled or entered into shows.
