VMS Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Andy had his chances but could not break the Fed down, he is only 25 so for me he will be back many good years ahead of him.
JADE Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Well that was his best chance ever and he blewit. Well the truth is he wasn'nae good enough. federerr is possible way down on the slippery slide downwards, so .... Certainly not the force he once was, but still played very well by all accounts - never watched it myself. one of the few sports I've never been in the slihtst interested in. Murphy will never have such a good chance again, that's for sure. So realistically he'll never win at SW19 that's for sure. Many good and eager youngsters coming through too. Mind, his brother, did win a title, abeit in the doubles, without Andy of course as he has changed partners. Seems to have worked too. So he did well and no one seems to have noticed. Well done Johnathon. Well I better point it out to save you embarrassing yourself more. The guy who won the doubles is Jonothan MARRAY and is not Andys brother. First male British champion since 1936 (or English according to Sky)Surprised you didnt know he was from Sheffield
just ask me Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 well lookon the bright side andy your Scottish again lol :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Roland Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Gosh, try to give the poor jocks a bit of credit... nearest to a Scot title win they will ever get most likely, and they don't want IT LOL. No he didn't win at Wim before. Was the first title in 75 years for a jock, some Buster geezer in 1938.... Mind has been 35 years since the English have won a singls title there I believe... Could be wrong, but .... Ah darn could google it, but not interested at all really too.
