Yep, after the tossers let themselves and their' Nation down so badly after / at / and during the World cup, I think there is a sense of purpose awaiting and something to prove. I see some good players have been dropped, and pulled up. These apparently will never have the chance to dishonour, let alone play for their' country again - and deservedly so! I think these young bloods will excell. They are good in their' own right of course, if lacking obviously IN expierence.

I think Mr Johnson did a good job as manager, but was let down via the C$ap heads. Think he still wanted to be 'One of the Boys'. Quite rightly a new broom has done what was wanted and deserved. :002: :002:

Can't believe that Ireland don't seem to be getting the votes I'd thought they would. Ok of course National pride is taking it's toll.

As for this afternoon game of England V Scotland.... Well the Scots are always a dour hard fighting side in any and every game. Never been much of a team nation in any sport of course. Mostly individuals playing their hearts out... so I hope this young inexpierence English side pack and play as a team and not give the ball away too often. But of course I do fear that the zealous part of them will be a battle to curb and undoubtedly will give a few stupid penalties away.

Strangely enough the English pack had just about got the measure of that.

So I think - hope - that the battling Scots will be as per norm and lay individually and the youngster of England play for each other.

So should be about 23 to 15 in Englands favour. :rolleyes:

Scotland really did play poor maybe the billing as favourites worked against them!!! A team probaly at there peak in terms of maturity and experience so thay must be gutted.

 

England lacked any real thrust!! Need a better ball carrying 8 and missed Flood at Fly Half!! Defence was awesome!! But can only see more tuff matches for them esp in Italy!!!
