Raymonds averaged £280 a bird with the highest being £650. To me it was a cracking little sale with everyone having a chance. Highest price in the savoy was £3300 for the son of Wing Down, £2900 for dtr of Drum, £2800 for dtr of Athena Rik Hermans. Crazy money really however i will add that each bid was 100%, no hidden reserves or buy backs in my auction!!

Scotland really did play poor maybe the billing as favourites worked against them!!! A team probaly at there peak in terms of maturity and experience so thay must be gutted. England lacked any real thrust!! Need a better ball carrying 8 and missed Flood at Fly Half!! Defence was awesome!! But can only see more tuff matches for them esp in Italy!!! Stu Wilcox

I have a few top class summer bred Jan Ardens left directly bred from his super Ligtenberg family which is responsible for 8 x 1st National over 550 miles plus 1st Welsh National and many good combine and national pigeons in the UK including England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. These are medium in size with some amazing eyes, mainly pieds and cheqs with a couple of smart blues. I went to Holland and collected and selected these ybs especailly, many have dropped two flights or so, there is some beauties!!!! Thanks for the comments lads. Stuart
