Guest TAMMY_1
Final photo is of Davie Cross who has been in the sport for nearly 45 years, Davie who is 84 years of age is a very quiet man who struggle's to get by with the cost of racing pigeons, without all these generous people who have taken part in the rebuilding of his loft then he would have had to finish in a sport that he loves. As you can see by the 2 photos, it is amazing of what a difference 7 days can make and also goes to show how powerful and positive Pigeonbasics can be. :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: Well done Gareth in organising this,as you say what a difference in a week. Guest TAMMY_1
This is the man who is a member of Basics who deserves a big pat in the back for coming to the rescue of Davie Cross. He designed, supplied 80% of the materials free of charge and had it done within a week of the old loft being burnt down. Well Done Davie Frame(POMPY), Lesmahagow :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: a real gentleman indeed

It was also very kind of you to meet me half way for the exchange of Davies perches. I thank you other members for the kind words regarding my coordination of the task of rebuilding Davies dookit, this is made easy by the generosity of many, this also includes yourself. We really cant underestimate the work that was put in by POMPY, things were made so much easier when he volunteered his services. Oh forgot to mention the new loft is on the other side of the garden. Guest Gareth Rankin
Phone the Record Angela n get a reporter up. I will be contacting the local paper Hamilton Advertiser to see if they would be interested on running a story on how 7 days makes a differnece with the generosity of pigeon fanciers and ISKCON. Perhaps these two bodies could strike up a relationship
