travel lodge £25,for room and breakfast for one night for me and the good lady

 

clean and warm all you could eat at breakfast

chequers plaza hotel./ rooms - grubby / food - poor / entertainment - nothing / go back !! no-chance ..

Marshall town do a filling knife for ames taping its got a stainless steel blade GREAT TOOL lasts forever best scraper ive ever had.They also do one with blue steel blade that ones no so good the blade rusts.Get them on E Bay if interested.

Hotel was first class,it was the Big Blue,rooms were big with all you needed,breakfast was as much as you wanted,dinner was a choice of menus with lovely food,there was no entertainment and we have been there 4 times in total[but not all for the show] and are defo going back there each year.

me and jimmy bamling had a few drinks on saturday with the owner of the lawton very nice lad might stay there next time

stayed in the claremont for the 2nd year running great accomodation food etc,the only thing i find with the claremont is there is not much craic wit fanciers tending to stick in their own company decided not to re-book for next year maybe look at the lawton for 2012

Booked into the loreto through the site,could not do enough for us £45 for 2 nights bb and me bowl of soup nd roll on return from show,15 mins walk from winter gardens or £6 taxi fare pity they didnt advertize earlyer so the pb members could fill it.

stayed at the central premier inn,linked to a brewers fayre next door,accomodation was great,food very good, very busy with doomen and sunderland fans and also a few suppliers versa laga and bucktons staying there,dinner and breakfast x 2 was £82,was with my young brother and pals who are non fanciers,maybe next year will stay at one of the doo hotels,had a good time though. :D :D
