Had a phone call from a wee mate of mine (Billy Allison) who was telling me about a pigeon away to Clermont for its gold award with the SNFC, the gallant pigeon in question is Blue Cock SU04M795 which belongs to the gentleman John Clark of Airdrie. I would like to wish John all the very best with when the liberation takes place and express the very same sentiments from Billy as these awards are few and far between.

All the best wee man B) B) B)

Really good to hear of this Delboy, congratulations to the Strangs on gaining this fine award.

To think what these winners have to endure in their carears is astounding.

good luck mr clark

and to the strangs timing there 8 year old from bourges to win a gold award fantastic

says a lot about these boys not stopping there birds but racing them on and achieving fine results over and over

Hope this doo get's it Gold Award, fantastic pigeon. Good luck

I beleive Jocky King sent his fantastic hen Mary to Clermont, if she scores it will be 9 times on the SNFC result, one more for her double Gold award next year.. what a doo, and a doo man with b***s of steel to keep sending her.

So does Ypres not count as it is only 442 miles intae Fife?

Maybe some of the Old Hands can clarify that. :)

Except for the word 'Channel', the wording of the Gold Award scheme on p13 seems to me to mean two or more different things. Could mean 5 x 442 miles is less than minimum 2500 prize winning miles, so Ypres doesn't count, or your bird has to do 6 Ypres races, or 4 races of over 500 miles + Ypres to = 2500 miles?

A Gold Award Diploma will be awarded to a bird which is a Section Diploma Winner (not

a Section Position winner as published in result) in five or more S.N.F.C. Channel Races,
