Guest stb- Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 if budgie is right why keep the 90% there will be good uns gone the day way that high wind as a lot of doos flying hard and fast skimming over the fences today , saw a small batch go bye today and one clipped the telly ariel on house roof across the road , it carried on but a cloud of feathers came oot it

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 5 short from 67 inc a hen that made the Andrazel result last year along with a 2 year cock that i fancy that has never been late, Also 2 pigeons injured today, one of them by the bop, luckily nothing major.
ritchie1 Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 1 missing from 35 but got 1 back from two weeks ago so back up to my 35 again real happy with race tenth and 11th in club out of 390 doos
budgie Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 I tend to think the opposite, sure we have some in our lofts that wont ever win anything, some that will go down as soon as the wind blows in there faces, but today if you look at the liberation times there was a lot of feds from all areas all liberating within a short time of each other, I think major clashing was the problem today that and a head wind, not all the birds to come are sh1t far from it.Dont make excuses if the are not up to the challange they are simply not good enough.
