Kyleakin Lofts Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Just back from having the Covid Booster and flu jag. Who else has been vaccinated and how do you feel. Bit early to say how it has affected myself, but similar to previous times with the Covid. An awareness that I've had a jag in the arm. Don't know if having the flu at the same time will make any difference. Never had any bother with the flu jag in the past.
sapper756 Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Got both my booster and flu jag on Friday, apart from a slightly sore arm, no side effects

Partner works with a lad who is part of gov testing scheme, (don't know name of it),who has been getting regular pcr tests and anti bodies tested. Had his 2 jabs, then got tested a few days later. He went from having lots of anti bodies,to having none?! The nurses were shocked to find this, and have now called him back in for more testing, thinking the 2 together might have caused this? Not good if you're working in a place full of kids with Covid!

philg50 Posted November 22, 2021 Report Posted November 22, 2021 Got mine one in each arm, stiff arm Covid side for couple of days a little discomfort ,then feeling of day 2 days later but i still think vaccination is very important for your own protection .I got mine Thursday last week.
REDCHEQHEN Posted November 23, 2021 Report Posted November 23, 2021 Got mine about 3 weeks ago, one in each arm, usually have a bad reaction to both, but only sore arm a couple of days - not the usual fortnight! My sister is part of a trial - in her late 70's she had jabs separately, a month apart - she has antibody testing, but hasn't divulged any information, I will have to ask her!
