Kyleakin Lofts
The SHU has received a statement from Chris Bain at gov. scotland stating That Low Risk Pigeon Racing is permitted from noon 21 April. The licence has been granted from midday today, but APHA require 7 days notice from Club Secretaries regarding their Gathering Point (Clubhouse) and there is further documentation regarding bio-security and the person responsible for it. The SHU will require to notify APHA of all race programmes 10 days prior to the start, so 1st May will probably be earliest we can start. Kyleakin Lofts
All information regarding race points as supplied by the Federations has been given to DEFRA/ APHA by the SHU more than 10 days ago. A lot of Feds gave information for starting on 17th April. That has changed and some of them have changed their programme. The information previously notified may be out of date. Changes have to be notified. Do they also require ten days notice or do they come under the "as soon as possible" part of the notification? Have all the Clubs and Feds notified APHA where their gatherings are going to take place?
Kyleakin Lofts
Great news Be good if the fed put a trainer on ...call it a dummy run kinda thing Group trainers also have to be notified and the SHU will not have done that because they are not notified of Federation gatherings for training. We have been waiting for this moment, but it appears that there is a lot of "red tape" for the organisers to work through.
