eastcoaster Posted June 10, 2020 Report Posted June 10, 2020 Given me a bit of light in what has been an extraordinary time but not sure many will compete but truly hope I'm wrong 🌈
Henrik Posted June 10, 2020 Report Posted June 10, 2020 Gonna have to be a big relaxation of measures regarding how many different households can meet up before any Nat marking can take place
dal2 Posted June 10, 2020 Report Posted June 10, 2020 Given me a bit of light in what has been an extraordinary time but not sure many will compete but truly hope I'm wrong 🌈Surely a bumper entry
philg50 Posted June 11, 2020 Report Posted June 11, 2020 Will we get entry forms etc through post soon and why no Ypres i wonder.
JonesyBhoy Posted June 11, 2020 Report Posted June 11, 2020 Hours on the wing not miles flown in the build up will be the deciding factor in getting birds ready for Reims IMO.. that’s if the moult doesn’t beat us..

Yeah, may suit the celibacy flyers for sure. Natural next, if restrained from second round.
VAGIN Posted June 12, 2020 Report Posted June 12, 2020 Will we get entry forms etc through post soon and why no Ypres i wonder. It says its only in discussion ( Arragements Maybe changed ) In other words wait and see.
jocky Posted June 12, 2020 Report Posted June 12, 2020 Should be going to Ypres 25th July. Feds will cover inland races.
dal2 Posted June 12, 2020 Report Posted June 12, 2020 Should be going to Ypres 25th July. Feds will cover inland races.Struggle to get on the road enuff for any
budgie Posted June 12, 2020 Report Posted June 12, 2020 The National should seriously consider Ypres in place of Inland National and give the Federation's a chance to recoup revenue.
dal2 Posted June 12, 2020 Report Posted June 12, 2020 The National should seriously consider Ypres in place of Inland National and give the Federation's a chance to recoup revenue.Surely a struggle to get to ypres by the 24th? I thought they might have made a weeks grace in between the Maidstone and gold cup races

I thought they might have made a weeks grace in between the Maidstone and gold cup races I’m trying to figure it out as well... The jump is no issue imo.. but the doos need work on the wing plus ample rest prior to the event... Dunno if it’s possible

Dunno if it’s possibleI keep hearing that the jump shouldn't be a problem Jonesy but you certainly wouldn't do it through choice. In my opinion there was time to move the youngbirds back and accommodate a program that would have gave the birds a better chance

Just my way... you lads will no better than me

andy Posted June 12, 2020 Report Posted June 12, 2020 Last years Gold Cup Winner was at Maidstone 2 weeks before (18th Open) which is perfect for doubling back providing Maidstone isn’t to tough, but no chance this year, although guaranteed someone will manage it!

Johnleg Posted June 13, 2020 Report Posted June 13, 2020 HRS OF DARKNESS ARE GOING TO BE REVIEWED FOR REIMS RACE BY SNFC.
Valiant Fifer Posted June 13, 2020 Report Posted June 13, 2020 HRS OF DARKNESS ARE GOING TO BE REVIEWED FOR REIMS RACE BY SNFC.yeah I would have thought so m8.The birds will need as many hrs as they can a think to fill on all places because of the situation.Im sure it'll be adjusted though!
VAGIN Posted June 13, 2020 Report Posted June 13, 2020 If there is only 2 races (maybe??????) from the snfc .Will all paid up members be entitled to a refund. Why should members pay £36 for a full program and get short changed with 2 races
