Roland Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 Remember all, it is not only seen, but perceived to be seen that can give our sport a bad name. Indeed tarnish all the hard work many are trying to do to improve our standing within the public eye. mark my words, carefully, when the dust settles very many will be casting truths and lies. Garner exploits and casting blame. Let's keep our sport free from such. At the moment many - far too many in Joe Public are casting aspersions as to 'Why' we can't go on as we did last year for instance. Yes of course they know, but full of selfishness and wanton own desires are calling the government. soon it won't be the government that they are calling but blaming any and every thing / one …. except their selves. Indeed spouting 'Whilst 10 of thousand were dying 'They were doing as ...' Lets try and keep our sport away from such. We have a constant barrage and calling as it is. No one care, or even remembers the pigeons of war years Not the debt owed to them. No one hears or sees! Let alone remembers the charitable fund we raise and donate each year. YET so very many spout in regards the 'Flying rat's' It is in OUR hand to be sensible. And if that means, in some eyes wrong, or have a careless attitude, then they most likely won't be called at. No most likely it will be the innocence that takes a lashing and back calling. Maybe some who might have joined, won't ...
jimbo54 Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 no it aint as I wont be clocking its wrong cts training but I bet u condone itThink race rubbers still need to be entered on race sheets and allocated a basket number in case there is any escapes from baskets after leaving club.

DJWa Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 no they don't aslong as u don't get a clock set she only said golf tenis bowls think u should be waiting for the correct info Steven sorry alan but you need to record the trainers on a race sheet , along with race rubber numbers , this was put in place years go ,even before DEFRA said it had to be done its to identify any given bird on the transporter if stopped and checked , im not sure but I think a copy of race sheets, ets print outs, and a copy of vaccination forms are also required to be on the transporter , im sure I will be corrected if im wrong ,
jimbo54 Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 no they don't aslong as u don't get a clock set she only said golf tenis bowls think u should be waiting for the correct info StevenSHU race rule 17 states “ The federation and societies must insert on race sheets the colour, prefix letter and outside number of rubber ring “.
Roland Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 We always have had too. Seems it will be the case for some time yet. Can't at secs think off, but there is another very good reason why birds have to be rubber... Besides being counted in the allocation of the birds per basket.

Roland Posted May 22, 2020 Report Posted May 22, 2020 Training 5 miles from home... whatever. Train at all. If a pigeon circle is at least a quarter of a mile... about 6 hundred when even small circles, Count the circles. Then divide by 10 then double it and you will see the mileage is at least that! A lot more in fact!
