The Irish have To be extremely brave to not only attempt to race from St Malo But look for extreme homing ability in any that are able to make it home IMO.

Aye well FIFA gave him a 9 game ban with appeal pending !!.

It was Garry Spavin who recommended me on dosage 100mg per bird

Have used Metrodinazole 400 for years, But 1/4 the tablets so 50 tablets do 200 pigeons. I have always done the young birds on weaning and never again in their life time without experiencing any sign of Canker in swabs taken from 6 year old stock birds and sent to De-Weerd laboratories for tests.

Rab, The closest club to me is Bonnybridge F/C Fed and my application was refused due to being outside the boundary. Next closest is Denny of which I am a member along with 6 other friends within 1/4 mile. When I retired the wife and I chose to be near the family which meant Camelon and I was not aware all the local fanciers were in Denny so that was the obvious choice. Regarding your assumption of door step Feds I am within the boundaries of 4 Federations. I have to admit racing into Scotland is totally different than down South and in hindsight wished I had stayed there where Feds only race 100 miles weekly and you have the opportunity to join 4 organisations for distance racing which is where I get my enjoyment. Oh and by the way Rab I am a bit of a masochist. LOL

Yes Tam I did because the Midland Fed does not have a race programme which gets miles or time on the wing unlike your Fed and incoporates the Inland Nationals in the race programe.

Sent 4 two year olds that I have high hopes for a result from, but this is the doo game and we are all trying to beat each other. I can only wish that whoever beats my entrants fraternal greetings as they have obviously prepared them better than I. Good luck to all competing and lets hope for better retuns than we have all experienced lately in those stupid and meaningless inland nationals.

Aye and I wis payin the phone call as the rat bag reversed the charges.
-
To be perfectly honest Rab I thought originally he was trying to stick the head on him for getting an elbow in the face however all the anti Pool supporters will no doubt castigate the poor guy.
-
Their were no pics immediately after SO what was to stop him biting himself to make a big deal out of it. I am a great believer in innocent till proved guilty and I would have replied sooner had the guy from Kirkie who ate all the pies not kept me on the phone for an hour and thirty six minutes.

Thought it odd that the Italian defender did not produce evidence of teeth marks to the waiting press and when I watched the incident in slow motion it definately looked as if he had indeed took a lump of flesh however when looked at it in real time I would not have thought it possible to bite any one in a fraction of a second, Perhaps all the furore by the English commentators takes some of the heat from Engerland getting humped out off it and all the press headlines will be about the gnashers. LOL

I think you will have a problem deciding to-morrow John with the birds being race marked to-night :emoticon-0126-nerd:
-
Aw jeez Rab please dont tell me I will have to let my three rotwellers out and open my gun cabinet for my shotgun at this time of night and why are you not tucked up in bed where all good pilgrims should be.
-
You are perfectly correct Billy he is just like his profile and keeps shooting himself LOL
-
Oh deary me, huv ah went an upset ye an if ah huv, tuff. LMAO
-
Now Now Derek as someone who in their youth dumped "Cowboy McCormack" on his *expletive removed* sparring, the guy who ate all the pies couldnt catch me and am laughin my *expletive removed* off :emoticon-0123-party:

Set 4 down and all went well training them for it. All 2 year olds. One for the wires, one for the hawks, one that will get shot, and with lots and lots of luck one to time in.

Walter their should not be a problem where the entire birdage on a transporter is divided by all the costs involved, ie, Fuel, Convoyer/Driver, Ferrying etc. An example is the transporter has 4365 birds on board and the total race costs are £657 equating to 15 Pence per pigeon. Individual accounts are then sent to Federations Sec's for payment. Their is no operating for hire or reward therefore tachographs or operators license is not required. I worked this situation when Fed Sec and joint convoyed other Feds whenever posible to the satisfaction of all concerned.

15.15 into the Falkirk area, ie 43 MPH.

I have been discussing this subject with others due to my birds leaving the American whole corn (maize) whilst clearing the beans, peas and tares. This has me wondering as normally the Maize would be the first to go. Now the only place its going is not into the birds crop but the waste bucket. Anyone on the Forum interested in 100 Kgs of Maize please get in touch as I am sure we could come to an equitable arrangement. Cannot guarantee its GM free !.LOL

On quite a few occasions I have observed my birds suddenly looking skyward when sitting in the veranda and when trying to ascertain what they see when I have been unable to I have lifted my binoculars and looked for what has alarmed them. On most occasions I have managed to spot a dot high in the sky which is not in sight to the naked eye so therefore I would agree that pigeons have superior eye sight to us mere mortals. This leaves the question why are they susceptable to BOP attacks when their eye sight is far superior to ours ?.
