I think you need to find a local pigeon fancier to care for the bird. It was probably exhausted if you were able to catch it so easily. If it had time to recover maybe there could be a way found to get it back to its homeland.

Well I`m no quite sure and no got any friends. If Dundee and Angus are two of them they are on one transporter heading for Consett and it is certainly not empty. Dundee and Angus have worked well together for years. Cant speak for Fife but they are going to Ripon as far as I know and I think Kingdom are going to Aycliffe. Is it true there are Dundee birds on the Fife transporter?

Just about every other fed in Scotland organised a delay because of the forecast. Why is it a problem for you guys?

Yes mid week racing may be fine as a short term measure when necessary but if a fed was to make their full programme mid week then i`m afraid there would be fanciers who would pack it in because they would never see their birds coming home.
