Been in Glasgow all day and came home to find 6 strays in late bred loft (open hole ) all Lanarkshire ? Why when they all have to come past their own lofts and all nice pigeons in good condition ? All will be libbed in newmains tomorrow .

Also have a w pigeon inn, the owner said the fed had a stinker of a toss on Monday with lots of birds missing .

Already stated don't think so but that is just my own opinion .

YES because I have learned although we only get about 15/20 mls overfly we need an hour which means we have to load our birds up heavier to get that extra time on the wing . The feeding system they both gave me would see us struggle to get them on the night . Not easy telling guys that have won international and many national races that I don't think they are correct from someone who has won sod all lol.

I only want to be at the top in long distance and spoke to two international winning fanciers on Tuesday and advice given I personally don't think it would be successful In my area of Scotland , that to me makes the pigeon game more interesting .

Not an ability thing Del just never had an attraction to them , the one in stock loft both g/ parents have won bicc Barcelona so that makes a differance .

Have one red in loft (stock) which has bred a mealy and my bird from the last auction on here is a ! RED from John bird just never liked them not sure why but love my blue,s and dark cheqs . But if I time them on the night from gold cup maybe I will change my mind .

If they were,nt raced as ybs give them plenty time the above post is a good guide.

If only feeding 1 oz per day surely not over feeding ? Gerry plus is not heavy enough at that rate , maybe they have slight head resp problem .jmo

I remember when first on this site and our hen topped the fed when someone on here asked how many birds were in race ! My answer was 350 ish to that the reply came back that did,nt mean sheet as the birdage was so low same hen was 1st fed 2nd sect 3rd open Snfc bovington 5500 birds also bred a 1st club winner before ybs all took ill and were disposed off, so George I don't think it makes any differance quality is quality.
