Same boat here lost 18 since season began but strangely still have 12 from my 18 late breds or unraced ybs and most of loses raced at least once as ybs . No more teams of late breds .

They were all at thirsk and may go on sat 200 mls then first inland nat then no training just left on open hole till gold cup , Hen will miss this week after being hit at thirsk.

You should be proud of your and your bird performance Oban is not an easy place for birds to race to but more so proud that you got the bird in winning condition well done . Most folk on here won't know where Oban is if not near parkhead or ibrox lol .

She is 5 I think and a cracking pigeon bred from a pigeon bred by Peter virtue and from a josh thone I bought direct , but only managed one nat race due to hawk strikes , I think she has now decided when she see,s danger she is down in hiding . So if can't go this year I will put her by .

Think it's 5 in , was going to pull from another bird and glue ,but need to see if she has any other injury as I only picked here from nest she is almost white and has been hell of a lucky bird to get this far .

Just got my grizzle hen who flew clermont on shift last year and has been hit for 4th time not too serious but missin 2 tail feathers and a snapped flight so may or may not get to gold cup .

34/40 i2 of the missing have flown the channel ! Never sent so many birds to a race and never again . But best race we have had so far as birds had to do the work . Amazed at my late breds have not had a lot of training and they just keep plodding on .

Would never ask for bird to be disposed of unless they offer first but on other side I have 10 missing and if they were all reported in different areas it would cost £400 to get them back ,
