Not so easy George when you don't drive , they were on the Airdrie van today and I,m taking them to edin tomorrow on train and will single them up .

Hoping for 6 , training from edinburgh tomorrow single ups so see how they go .

It's not the distance birds but the others that are only going 300/350 that are a bit over weight .

A question for the experts . My naturals are above my garage and on open hole , some are for the distance races others the inland nats ,my problem is that my distance birds will be feeding ybs and are all over the place and not in boxes so feeding individual is not a option , how would you stop the other birds eating more than their share , at moment there are beans in a hopper but finding some birds are putting too much weight on . They do go on training van but a twenty minute fly takes nothing off them . What do you think .

All my naturals are on open hole , but young leb likes to go into the woods across from me to get his nest materiel so always on the go and always in danger from attack so will be anxious few weeks . And will play it by ear , he had a few single up last year before Eastbourne and nothing for 3 weeks .

Yes sent them all Young leb took 11.1/2 hours he is my great hope having been 8 th sect Eastbourne ,4 sect clermont and boy was my heart pounding when he landed . Maidstone cock took I think about 9 hours and was done in . Grizzle hen coasted in but can't remember her time (posted else where ) Black cock was my 3rd bird so will go to inland nat this week Cheq flt hen never showed up . So glad now I sent them but for a while it was,nt looking good .

Have done similarly with my grizzle hen and sent her today and came ok flight intact , gold cup bound .

My young leb 4th sect clermont and my great blue hope for gold cup came about 5.45 and I can tell you I refused to go out with the wife until he was home that's what I think of him . Good luck .

19/21 my last 2 have been 3 rd sect Maidstone /4th sect clermont 9 hours and 10 1/2 hours on wing and boy have they flown some miles today , so do they need another race before gold cup ?

Now 22/23 got 3 today knackered , think it's my fault (what am I saying it,s always my fault lol) tried to get a bit weight of them so cut the feeding a little ,chuffed I got the wee hen I sent by mistake not had a race for 2 years and not a single training spin ! Used as a mate for nat birds .

All mine stayed at home due to fed going shorter than expected , will single them up this week and they maybe go next week s race or straight to inland nat .
