Same here a few almost complete but don't do darkies but late breds are still throwing as picked up six flights yesterday and they are looking great .

Two club mates and myself had for three years but not this year , all we done was put versa laga granules down and never cleaned them out all season so will do same next season , but I agree I think we have all had it but maybe got lucky and only get a light effect . Only one of us was on darkness.

If dirty wattle during feeding ybs means canker then someone should tell Geoff &cath cooper on their DVD the stock team nearly all have dirt wattles after 5 rounds of rearing .

Breeding mix with oil and brewers yeast twice a week gemthepax three timesa a week as ybs get older lot of peanuts Also have pots with porridge oats and the normal grits and minerals . Always give my first round away and all that receive are very happy .

Well done mate on being honest about your performance s not a lot would be , You will get lots of good info on here but for me pick one member and ask him to mentor you through the season and do exactly as they say . For me it is simply your system ! Natural is great for over 400 mls but in a competitive club that are flying widowhood you had very little chance , I am never in the hunt in my club but do a lot better in the nats when we get farther out in distance but still don't like being at the bottom of the sheet but have made my choice of race I want to win. Will put my head on the block Del and say I culled his dad leb who was son of Brian leadbetter Bergerac winner because he had been with a few hens and bred nowt but I loved his calm nature so put him to our mcgimpsey hen who has bred loads for me and the brother and along came young leb and he had something about him and has came good and luck giving he will do better next year , he don't handle great nor look fancy but he oozes confidence and so do his young so here's hoping for a bit of luck . Ps on sires side he is same way bred or close to the pad fields Barcelona 2nd open 2015.

It's sire was 18th Perpignan 24 th Barcelona also 7th international Lourdes and 1st nat Dam, 9th nat Marseilles her parents were 3rd/10th nat Pau and 2nd/3rd nat Marseilles . Not bad breeding . Bowl is the name of the old fashioned trap that is on hinges to let birds in and hence open bowl(trap). I had my natural team on open hole all last year and never lost a old bird but did lose ybs (2) your birds are fit and switched on and always up flying in all weather and the condition is fantastic , but never leave the bath out for them as they are sitting ducks for Sparra hen and she will be watching . I am surrounded by tree,s and the killer is here all the time .

Keep them coming lads this is what it used to be like at nat marking every one trying to get an edge by feeding/ training differently . I have brought a few birds in recently from various sources with one thing in common they all come from Nfc/Bicc/Snfc/ Nat winners over 600 ml now I am also different to most in that I do not accept that birds from south of the border will not win north of the border ! I totally believe that blood from great pigeons is blood from great pigeons no matter where they are from ,jan Arden's are,nt scottish but they do well here deweerts are not scottish they are starting to come through the list goes on , it may take a few years to weed out the non tryers but I believe a good fancier will come good no matter where they come from jmo Motivation is as much to do with success as feeding in my book but without one or other they won't put that extra effort ,my blue cock that scored from Eastbourne and clermont was feeding 3 ybs 2 from his first round and one from his next , he just loves his babies .
