novo10 Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 No question about it Del, east is better, it may only be marginal BUT it is. BOP is everywhere and, I agree, the game is f k ed if we don't do something NOW.. Lets get the hierarchy heads together and at least f kin tryIf we don't get it fixed the games *expletive removed* am one race away from rapping it
tiger Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 See the problem is guys pick race points and don't have a clue ie towlaw has been a grave yard for years and a round that part is the same but do we learn Naw We should be looking at feds and seeing the best points and picking them .jmo

hotrod Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Ask the Bo'ness boys if they had a good race from towlaw today we were with centralThink it all depends on who you speak to ,there's always someone who has a great race ,but it could be a terrible race overall .and about tow law can't remember a good race from there in our fed all that area is the same ,we call it the Bermuda Triangle . Go past it no probs go before it no probs ,but lib in it then yer f k d .
Delboy Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Got my last one this morning 52/52, canny remember ever getting full returns sending as many birds .
bigbill Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Got my last one this morning 52/52, canny remember ever getting full returns sending as many birds .great returns mate, still not a feather here, 11/19
Delboy Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 great returns mate, still not a feather here, 11/19 Weve had a freakish race m8, with very little losses in the fed. Its not always like that but we must highlight the good ones as much as the bad ones. Hope you get them working in.
STB Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 The diffo between good and bad is the pennines and the southern uplands . If young birds get hit on the far side of them your in for a hard day. You getfar better returns with bit south in it up and over. .Appleby used to be great but last few seasons ive had terrible lot hawked at appleby and exsperienced birds not returning . St boswells otterburn and tow law have been graveyards for me here most other lib sites on east have offered descent returns
geordie1234 Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 8/12 for me Glad ive not sent the whole team this season

b.massey Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Mine were same lad lost 3 1/2 mins on trap they just flew round and round weren't interested in coming in too spooked Your birds were crossing in 2s n 3s so prob been hit with Percy Biggest batch I seem cross was about 12
kapri 07 Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 In my opinion the only way young bird racing will be great again is if we moved the by program September October and beginning of November And my reason for this is most perigrinnes migrate leaving us with the sparrowhawk just think about it what would the BOP feed there young when there's no Feds or fanciers giving them meals on wheels ....I'm quite sure it's worth a try for 5 year because what choice have we got because in 5years time young bird racing is finished..
dunc50 Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 no question about it, we have been saying it for years and only a certain few have worked at it. A meeting has to be called by the hierarchy
