we stopped using tow law years ago as the newcastle lads pointed out where all the peregrines were around it . They advised go gurther north or south off .it was talking to C A ladds today and they said they had a cracking race from Tow Law today after a hold over . Who were you at Tow law way

Totally agree every fed should have some info on their intended race points before they get passed at the AGM.

Think it all depends on who you speak to ,there's always someone who has a great race ,but it could be a terrible race overall .and about tow law can't remember a good race from there in our fed all that area is the same ,we call it the Bermuda Triangle . Go past it no probs go before it no probs ,but lib in it then yer f k d .

Weve had a freakish race m8, with very little losses in the fed. Its not always like that but we must highlight the good ones as much as the bad ones. Hope you get them working in.

The diffo between good and bad is the pennines and the southern uplands . If young birds get hit on the far side of them your in for a hard day. You getfar better returns with bit south in it up and over. .Appleby used to be great but last few seasons ive had terrible lot hawked at appleby and exsperienced birds not returning . St boswells otterburn and tow law have been graveyards for me here most other lib sites on east have offered descent returns

In my opinion the only way young bird racing will be great again is if we moved the by program September October and beginning of November And my reason for this is most perigrinnes migrate leaving us with the sparrowhawk just think about it what would the BOP feed there young when there's no Feds or fanciers giving them meals on wheels ....I'm quite sure it's worth a try for 5 year because what choice have we got because in 5years time young bird racing is finished..
