In my own club 1 bird home from 19 outrageous

Had one reported from Birmingham to-day flown to a shadow still 5/10 finder said he had to pull its head from the drinker.i believe the heat was the biggest problem.

The convoyer knew what the problem was, and it was the birds sat their for 12 hours or more in the full heat on Friday,and at times 30°, the feeding time would have been the bigest,problem, were they fed at 4 am 5am with lights on and if so their lies the issue.not enough time to get water into them, as you all know birds don't guzzle water,till they ain't got any, for about 4 hours.and only then they would fight at a drinker, but that could have been,they were parched 3-4 hours into the race .

Got my first Bedhamton doo the day! It got as far as Beith Ayrshire 370 miles where he was cared for by Jim shepherd for a couple days until he got his strength back and released this morning to return at dinner time in Great condition. Thank you very much Jim. I now have 1 from 3 sent.

Got a 2 year old home tonight with string tied round his toes and feet

Despite all the negatives about this race it has to be said Mary Pryde has done a first class job publishing a result with, if my counting is right, 701 pigeons on it in 3 days flat, so Well Done Mary ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
