Down in the north east midweek club pay a yearly fee to the NEHU to affiliate and run under its umbrella giveing a governing body in case any problems.

A limit to amount being sent down here means we can basket very quickly (six bird limit) so i can dash down on wed morning get birds on and straight to work---if you carnt make it there is only six birds for someone to drop off with clock and get done quickly so you can get the birds ready early and leave for the wife to drop down so you dont miss a race and not a fortune to send so pooling or nom birds are affordable.

Also depending on number of members --not too many baskets making transport by van not a wagon possible.

As they race home no pull from flock fliers as only six each racing

Transport driver can fill his van with trainers but none liberated with racers ,allowing for a fair race.

If a change in weather birds can be liberated early with all members sent a text,(Birds welfare being upermost)

You have a lot to discuss at your inorgary meeting ----we join on the understanding that if the race is called on you pay your weekly fee if you send or not

So the transport costs are met every week--making same cost each week

If you lads are spread out you might find it best to have an east and west result to even out location.

Look forward to seeing your first result o line --BEST OF LUCK.
