Just back from club 50% returns an hour after lib, first yb race always slow

Sounds about right for 1st yb race, half home after an hour is normal and a bit slower with time wasted at lib point usually and a head wind.

Im a wee bit disillusioned here, I was told the returns were ok by someone but what ive heard since from everybody ,this race was a complete disaster. :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking: A good fancier friend of mine just told me he has 25% home.

Hard yin here :cry-blow:

Managed tae fluke a 1st in the club, but my returns are the worst I've had from a yb race since I've had the doos-sitting with 36/56 at the moment.

Don't know if it's bad preparation or bad luck, but I do know I've a sare heed and willnae speak tae anybody til aboot Wednesday :emoticon-0136-giggle:

My m8 has only 33% home and he is one of best fanciers in Scotland, never mind ALMOND VALLEY FED. Something doesn't add up as ive seen his doos and they were in top condition.

i understand john holding till it heated up cause birds arnt interested after a trip if its cold early, they need a bit of warmth and soon tell you if they want to go, its like they come alive and are jumpin, miss the and your aswell as holdover, doos dont feel the cold, its a joke, in proper feather not to early bred? then they will fly the sky, apart from percy from that distance they should romp in, how many sent eary bred in poor feather, ??i think john did well keeping you lads updated.
