cloudy weather better for the dos,rather than blistering sunshine,as long as visibility is good

 

Last time I looked the visibility was moderate which definitely isn't good enough. Thick cloud is one of the worst racing conditions for pigeons but I hope your right and it clears a bit and they get up.

over 90% cloud cover all day Saturday no chance of a race in those conditions. How many has everyone sent? We were between 3 & 7 but I think due to the very very high K factor over Sat/Sunday the yearlings stay where they are so 3 older birds only - the yearlings always have the option of Littlehampton or Ypres

You learn a lot handling birds at a national marking station, I handled some outstanding birds, but also some I would personally have left in the loft.

Just sitting doon thinking about or should i say hoping of timing a decent wan the morra

 

Me and the wife were away for a run the new doo mobile and no long back and now i am starting to think about the morra's race our 2 fancied doos are roundabout hens we showed 1 her cock gave her a nest bowl wi an egg in and let her and him have 15 mins of doing what doos dae lol.

The other hen was just lifted out the hen section same as she was last week when winning the club race fae Melton Mowbary but time will tell
