Most know exactly what you are saying to be true .... But many will send - even yearlings - then Blame 'Race Controllers' etc. Any one bar themselves.

Have had some sunny bouts here about ... mine only getting loft fit and mentally sound... 1st race will be in May.

Many a good bird lost or ruined for the season sending in east winds.... Averages! If I sent for them, it would only be a couple of old well experienced birds ... which would hate it too.

150 miles a wee bit far for first go even a warm day in May but maybe just getting them home is what your after.
