Had the doos out for 3 hours today enjoying the sun and managed to get the yb darkness loft all oiled and looking good

Took the vents off to paint the loft I'll clean them and put them back on in the next couple of days

I would just like to add this is the loft Pigeon Basics got for me after our lofts were burnt down a couple of years ago...

Looks good was it old used engine oil or just the real cheapy stuff ?have been considering using that myself .How long does it take to get to b touch dry?Another question was the loft done before and what with , ie water based shed preserve?..

Have used used engine oil a few times but 1st time on this loft and it looks great no sure how long it will take to dry as with it being oil it will take a while

It's 12x6 we will have around 40 ybs in it although it has 57 perches
