Who wants to leave their loft after timing in a cracker and you know your preparation was good and your favoured bird is still flying, it would be a total injustice if you had to leave your loft on the most important moment of the year.

I know that stevie, don't think it should be passed but if it did get passed and you timed a good yin and didn't have a mobile ye wid one from somewhere to phone it in, that's a fact.

I am all for it the older fanciers had to report their timers via Telegram within the hour 40/50 years ago so don't see why they could not do the simpler things as using a phone today.I am also in favour ov the new race points hope both get passed. :emoticon-0167-beer:

With what Tiger said about watching the race unfold.... I like that idea as I've seen it with the internationals etc and even national racing in England....think it makes things a bit more exciting

Well I'm in favour def 100% , got to move way the times . But I think either a call /text to report your first bird or an e.mail. Within an hour of timing in . Think the text idea is prob the cheapest and it's written down instead of ,can't understand the message left on lib line . All this talk of guys not having phones is dung IMHO .
