Just to say wind picking up again tonight,another 24hrs of high winds to come.

Been up to lofts all secure at moment,looks like it's going to be a long 24hrs here.

Getting bad here in the west , I've got 3yearling hens sitting out tonight , 1st time out in around 3 months , 2 others just came in just as it got dark . Don't think they will like a night out on the tiles tonight eh ?

Spent the day dismantling the inside of the loft and unbolted all the roof ready to drop. Tomorrow, then had to go back out and screw the roof back down lol

Just got back in,all ok at the moment.Never had wind like this before.Locally people have now lost there electric bridges are now closed to he main land.Roll on miday tomorrow when this wind has finally blown its self out.

Thankfully no damage to the lofts, the trampoline was practically in the neighbours garden and had to be rescued.

Very windy here during the night and heavy rain ,hope the buckets nae full of water heard the lid flappin about ,its still blustery and gusts just now, hope damage nae to bad for those farer south and more exposed .

Well lofts were ok this morning,but next doors chimney pots come down from 50ft flown across 40ft hit our porch dented (hole) in the roof.Then bounced off that hit my car dented that and cracked the windscreen.Then landed on the driveway oh yes it also cracked the fascia board from the impact as well.
