The wife has already placed her claim on the chocolate. The younger ones made me a card. The wife gave me a card and has arranged a birthday dinner on Saturday when the older ones can come to visit. She also bought me plastic cladding for the loft. The plastic cladding is her design input to the loft. " I want to look out at something nice, so you will have to cover it with plastic cladding". "No, I don't want white cladding, I want Rosewood to match the house". "OK, if it is too expensive, I'll buy it, but that's your birthday, Christmas and Valentine covered, so don't expect anything else". I am well aware that it will also be anything else covered, if she decides to lump it in. On the plus side, it will save external maintenance.
