bigbill Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 17/19 here from otterburn, did not have any birds going for water right away,
geordie1234 Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Doos were watered at the lib site any other suggestions Is a kick in the based for our convoyers.... ps some of mine went for a drink some didn't I guess they were thirsty after flying 2 or 3 hours
Delboy Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 I had one pigeon went to gutters for a drink before entering loft, the rest were fine and acted great on return. 34/36
peter pandy Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Being boxed in on three sides with houses my birds almost always land on the tiles and head for the gutters for a drink. Their is nothing I can do about it and accept it as part and parcel of racing. Whether they are recieving water on the transporter is any ones guess however I would at no time blame the convoyer for MY failure to learn them to drink while in a basket. It has already been said == Look In Your Mirror.

walterboswell59 Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 so looks like the returns were about the same from both race points which is good to know
