How Many Old Birds

Hi all been a hard old bird season for us started with 80 old bird's and left with 25, dropped 55, how did you get on???

20/40, but no national races.one reported out of 20.

Lost approx 40 mostly from training sent 16 to inland nats only lost one ! My best hen .

Started with 63 down to 25 with the worst races being Peterborough and Portsmouth.Dont forget the 98% Rule

Lost 6 over 3 races 4 in one race which is more than total losses since starting in 2012 and 15 over 2 x 20 mile training chucks worst ever for me, lost 9 from around loft last 2 weeks 6 yearlings 3 young, a total of 30 birds, plagued with hawks and falcons here

Shame and a disgrace no one in government has helped

Started with 44 dropped 31 had 6 injured which happened in the early races,have started to train them with the young birds and intend to put them into the first couple of y/bird races,have not seen or heard a thing of the 31 lost birds

Been pretty good this year Started with 13. lost 3 so far, birds went to Portsmouth and some went to Eastbourne, left with 10 so some will be at clermont next week.

started with 60 left with 26 two or three may never race again due to being badly injured and still snfc clermont to go may send 5 but not with any great confidence this time but can only send and see dropped some class birds this season and like ive been saying over the past few years when you lose them down the eastside very few turn up into the west of the country

I only race to the coast (200mls) so lose very few birds usually but this season I've lost 3.One cock who was a double fed winner an old hen who had won twice and a hen who had won and had several good fed/club positions.I started with 12 pairs,racing cocks and hens.

I had 32 I have 15 left 6 going to Claremont so that might change. Been to every race only failing to time.........at the gold cup.........expletive remove
