lanarkshire lad Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 Anybody used the chevita vaccine for paramyxo ?
Kyleakin Lofts Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 What surprised me was that Retford sent me Chevita (live vaccine)for Salmonella. I didn't know live vaccine was authorised in the UK, but Retford are a UK company at the top of their game, so it must be OK.

Would be very surprised if any live vaccine is allowed in the uk for pigeons, legally that is.

just ask me Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Birds would have to have a underlying issue for a vaccine to make the birds seriously ill chevita is a top vaccine but not licenced in the UK or Ireland My preferred way would to vaccinate live and dead vaccine about 6 to 8 weeks apart but as I said its not licensed

JohnQuinn Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Sorry John didn't realise you were looking for a dual vaccine, what's that for ? No it was my poor post caused confusion Lindsay, i was looking for the 100 dose Colombovac right enough but couldn't find it on Hyperdrug, all i could see on their site was a 50 dose dual vaccine for pmv and pox so i looked on merca and the 100 dose Colombovac was easily found on there.
