i know a lot of members have stopped for the season so will not be going my birds have not been raced since the first appleby due to me going on holiday so ive missed an appleby 2 stainmores and charnock richards ive had a couple of chucks and got them flying well enough around the loft and was thinking of going this week with 4 darkness youngsters [any thoughts]

Probably somewhere somebody has achieved this miracle but if you go by percentages you SHOULD be standing at the loft for a number of DAYS lol. Best of luck

I could be corrected here, but I am sure Davie Owen fi Coldingham was either 1st or 1st & 2nd yb national with birds going for there 1st race, a few years back,I think !!

I would say the wind would play a factor on their fitness as they may struggle with a headwind on the journey home, but if you feel that their flying well enough and the wind is favourable I would send them

if fit send these doos wont have the fear factor of gettin chased with birds of pray for the last 5 weeks and could give you a race mind the race could be between 5 or 6hrs all the best
