We have had one toss this week and the rest of the week the weather has been poor, the birds are flying an hour twice a day quite easily but there is no sign of the weather improving so hoping to get some tosses in next week before next Saturdays first race or else we will hold them a week but the risk of that is the weather can be worse and they will have missed their first short race of about 90 miles.

The hens have had 2x10mls,1x15mls the cocks 1x10mls,1x15mls. If it clears later, cocks will go again 10mls.I never train further than 15mls,we have our first race wed, approx 50mls. weather permitting.

No training been done at my place, put 1 section out yesterday for the first time since Sept 2013 and had late bred birds in that section that had never been out so needless to say a couple never returned, my try the other section today then hopefully start rotating the sections every day.

not worried about fitness as they have been flying 2 hours a day for last 2 weeks and week before they were only out at night and they were flying about an hour then, just a few tosses is all they will need but having said that they could not get out this morning for the fog :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Had mine away today for a 25ml toss and for the 3rd time this week they have been well apart on their return but at least their having to think and navigate after a bop strike. Luckily I have just had my last bird return just now so hoping for a clear run tomorrow without the bops :emoticon-0138-thinking:

can you use the bus Tony ? I have done in the past ,I know your not there to call them in but ?? :emoticon-0138-thinking:

would try the yearlings that way , wouldn't worry about 2 & 3 year olds ,just send them ,that's my opinion ,for what its worth.

Too many cats around here Andy. Going by the weather forecast for the 12th (our first Race) they're showing a n/w wind (fingers crossed it'll stay the same) which is a blow home for us, think I'll take my chances jumping them in.

Young birds is the major problem :(
