Spend a few hours with the birds, putting in nest bowls, tobacco stalks as the hens are due to start laying early next week all being well

all birds down on eggs now so the birds will be given their freedom this morning to bath and get used to going in and out of the racing loft

give the old birds a wee run togethere with there new mates change any pairings that dont work or i dont like to get them ready for pairing in 2 or 3 weeks yearlings should be laying first egg this weekend swap some of the stock birds eggs under them mark the eggs with felt tip and put in book who is sitting on whos eggs latebreds are out with the bath get them in and yearlings out and bath ill leave the old birds in there boxes over night and split them again tomorrow that will keep me going today lol

Been down at the doos and now at breakfast,will go back down and get a few wee jobs done,out to friends for dinner later on as thistle are in Dingwall,might sneak a few pints at the club later with the boys!Sunday doos!!!

Sitting in Edinburgh watching my boy racing on his bike with about 400 kids. Arrived at 9.00 and wont be out of here until 16.30 Then tomorrow its two hour cycling session for him at the velodrome in Glasgow

Been at the old place today took the asbestos sheets off the roof of the smaller part of the big loft cleared all the old nest boxes out of it and gutted the inside got all the bolts loosened ready to take it down in the next few days but no rush to take it to the new place yet so i will do all the repairs needed on it after i take it down and i will get it painted tae before i shift it it's gonnae be a busy next few months running between 2 places but only 2 mins apart in the car so hopefully not be too bad

 

I'll start to take the section i built to join the 2 lofts down the morra and then that's me ready for lift off lol
