sapper756 Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 Cardiff City have confirmed that Malky Mackay has been sacked.A club statement says "The Board of Directors at Cardiff City Football Club have today relieved Malky Mackay of his duties.A new first team manager will be appointed and announced in due course."
buster151 Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 and only the other day were saying he was ok
paddymac Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 When the fans are away the rats will play, thats the cut-throat business of being in charge of a football team these days. Hopefully Malky will bounce back from this and prove his worth at another team that will appreciate his skills as a manager, he certainly didn't deserve to be treated in this way.
alex young Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 He's better off out of it,at least now he will have his contract paid up.It's hard to see how anyone would take the job with Vincent Tan as owner but no doubt they will be queueing up for it.
andy Burgess Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 hope he goes on to great things . he deserves too
john cumming Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 cardiff city , watch a joke the board are after all the assurances the gave malky the other day
kirky Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 i hope fans boycot next match would serve them right, vincent tan to blaim needs to put his hand in his pocket and buy some players.
just ask me Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 the owner is as low as 50/1 to be the next boss lol
geordie1234 Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 i hope fans boycot next match would serve them right, vincent tan to blaim needs to put his hand in his pocket and buy some players. They were the 5th or 6th highest spending club in the transfer window
billt Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 Yes George, they spent over 30 million in the Summer and Malky still wanted to buy 3 more in Jan., so not all one-sided
Bryngwynt Lofts Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 Disgrace ! First time in their history to get to the Premiership playing attractive football.Yes they have spent heavily, but there is a gulf between the championship and Premiership. You have to spend to survive in the premiership to stay up its worth to the club approx 90 million. The owner has changed the kit colour from blue to red,no respect for the history of the club.Yes he has a manager in wait to take over,I hope they go down to teach the owner a lesson on how to treat the manager. I'm sure Malky won't be out of work for long,I bet some championship managers and premiership managers will be looking over there shoulder tonight.Knowing Malky is available.
geordie1234 Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 Apparently Vincent Tan was questioning why David Marshall hasn't scored any goals lol clueless
Guest strapper Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 the next manager will be an ex england manager...

kirky Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 They were the 5th or 6th highest spending club in the transfer window30 million peanuts you spend that on one player in the premiership.
geordie1234 Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 30 million peanuts you spend that on one player in the premiership.Your missing the point he was still up the top on the spending front
