What can we do to protect our sport?

 

Were are we going to be in ten years time?

 

What can we do to highlight our plight with the bop?

 

Just a few questions that we NEED to find answers too.

 

 

We are in a major decline even since I joined the sport three years ago, what are we doing? I hear off people singing petitions at Blackpool etc but can someone explain what good it's doing?

 

I know certain individual's out there put in a tiresome amount of work to help protect us but time we all stand up and be counted..

 

Firstly we should stop giving to charity and start helping ourselves, I know it sounds very harsh but if we survive charities will benefit for a lot more years if we save our sport.

 

One idea I have is buying billboards space in prime locations... I read recently that a young guy out of work used his last 500 pounds to buy a billboard in London to try and find a job...surely if we raised enough and put massive pictures of bop killing helpless pigeons it would get a reactions that would hopefully snow ball??? We need to shock people so we can maybe get some air time to highlight our plight?

 

 

Sorry for the rant but what are we really going to do??

very good subject and post George .we need a character with a strong backbone to lead us all in the right direction .a person who can speak well ,have some public image and not be afraid to "fight the fight" on our behalf .step up Spartacus .

We have one on our transporter at the back think Williedoo got it from RPRA

It would be interesting to see how many fanciers breed late breds at the end of the year to get a couple of tosses into them from places of interest??

Biggest problem with the doo game is the fanciers themselves because they couldny agrre on the colour of she ite, also they are always bickering about advantages and disadvantages, to many doggy men in the game . that's how the doggy sport went up the spout to much jealousy. omo

you are right m8, I have just unapproved four posts already, the admin and mods get downed for removing posts etc, on an open forum we must be careful what we allow, also here a genuine thread interesting but there is always those that spoil it,
