midnight_son Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 38/41 Peterborough. Nothing since 11am Sunday morning. Two yearling cocks and one channel hen down. Bad enough but looked a lot worse on the cards at 5pm on Saturday.

walterboswell59 Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 got to agree with you tam ,think mist/fog has got a large part to play down the east and dont know why everyone harps on about bop there at your front door they dont just appear when it comes racing time the scottish borders are full of them and thats a fact i aggree with both you guys back down the west with a flexy rule that in the event of a strong south east wind forcast the race controler can switch to a race point in the east there would have been a lot less birds lost last year if we had this rule in place dont tie the controllers hands with stupid rules the birds come first

You have to give your birds every bit of help they can get. The birds will end up in Ireland just like this season if you don't Good your listening wattie.

He had cracking blues and blue pieds , Irish birds , the big b,ger would nt say where they came from .
