had 25/34 lastnight

got 3 yearling cocks at 07.30 08.15 08.20 so turning up ok so far

Coldstream with North West Fed. My returns were very gappy and had them coming all day - 14/15 last night. The missing bird, a late bred cock, arrived before 8 this morning.

I had 5 to come last night at 5.30 but when i went down to the lofts today i was only 2 missing i think i got the wee late bred hen that only had the 1st toss of her life on last sunday then was tossed everyday this week but if she can make it no excuse for the other 2...

Monday return from Sat was a yearling blue cock with half a tail, Was a young cock I was only getting qualified for the shows as he won twice as a young bird in handling classes, But slit across chest and half a tail so thats him done for the year! Still had 2 yearling hens to come from yesterdays Alnwick race, 1 was sitting on the landing board this morning, so only 1 awol now.

Still had 2 yearling hens to come from yesterdays Alnwick race, 1 was sitting on the landing board this morning, so only 1 awol now.

 

1 on the landing board when i got up at 06.30
