Wiley Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Being a spurs fan I am going to be bias. But all the top pundits on television are muttering Bales name with the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. His very young and makes Spurs look like a one man team, how good can he be? I feel be hard to keep Bale at the end of the season, would like to see how he'd perform abroad in a big club but would it be big fish in small pond effect? He has plenty of potential and sure he will become even better but what's other people's opinions?

Maybe Man City might try to get himhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif
Tony C Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Bale is quality, no doubts about that. Messi is in a class of he's own, there's not a player that comes close.
ALF Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Just had Harry on the phone there he wasnae very complimentary about him

Wiley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 Bale is quality, no doubts about that. Messi is in a class of he's own, there's not a player that comes close. Biggest disadvantage for Bale, no disrespect to the Welsh lads is that he has very little chance to play in a major tournament.
Tony C Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 If Bale's ego is only half that of Ranaldo's he's suitcase is already packed.
aye ready Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 no bad for a lad that started out as a defender(remember)
andy Burgess Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 yesterdays game was Newcastle V Bale (not spurs) , if he,s still there next season i will be very suprised . hoping he can inspire other Welsh boys to step up to the mark .
just ask me Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 very few players can pass a player the way he can power and pace is hard to find these days where will he go well can he fit in at barca not really there type of player real have the goal machine that is ronaldo there no where in italy that could pay his wages i suppose psg could but would he want to go there so i feel he will stay in england so there city chelsea and utd all 3 will pay decent wages i think if fergie wants him he will get him as he has done a lot of business with spurs there must be a good relationship there he got rvp even though city offered bigger wages spurs to Chelsea dont think that would go down to well lol
knoxjn Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 not bad for someone who keeps getting booked for diving and tripping over his own feet to get penalties
BLACK W F Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 bale no doubt is a quality player but he aint in the same class as messi bale will be off in the summer to either of the big spanish clubs my moneys on real to buy him
Wiley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 not bad for someone who keeps getting booked for diving and tripping over his own feet to get penalties He'd ft into a Man UTD team well then especially at Old Trafford
knoxjn Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 look at the stick suarez gets at liverpool not a cheep about bale
Wiley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 There's been a lot written in the papers about him diving Knox?
knoxjn Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 not as much as the guy from liverpool and the tv pundits dont mention it at all seems to be ok to do it if your face fits simulation or being clever are phrases that get used but cheating is what it is
Wiley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 Knox you are right but it seems diving is the thing with premiership players Ronaldo, Drogba, Suarez, Bale are just some of the premiership All Stars, all great players all labeled as Divers.
billt Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 One of many from the Southampton youth set-up, opinion seems to be that Shaw will be even better
Wiley Posted February 14, 2013 Author Report Posted February 14, 2013 Embarrassing to say it but Bales making spurs to look like a one man team. Two great goals again tonight
