ovy1255 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 leave the lofts as they are so they can see them-more worried about the grand bairn,he is 5 in december going on 35,the pigeons have had a very active bairn to deal with this year so a few fireworks should be a doddle

Tony C Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 I leave things as they are. I have noticed in previous years one or two pigeons droppings may be a bit on the loose side so I would say it does affect the odd one here and there.

blaz Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 don,t do anything with birds .1 of my dogs is very scared so givin her serene-um calm tablets for 1st time .been told they work used to give a vally. the other dog her sister does not bother a jot. when their a loud bang 1 is scared but does not seem as scared if i tell the other dog to fetch it.the other dog goes daft like she want to attact it. be glad when it is over fireworks only good for the bops

PigeonDetective Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 I understand the kids like fireworks etc.. but my neighbours are taking the mick.. Hopefully my pidgies are not effected.. the rockets are making my girlfriend jump, so their probably petrified.. Losing patience
walterboswell59 Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 does not seem to bother the birds but when i had felt covered roof was worried in case a spent rocket set the roof on fire allways found a few on the loft roof next morning ok now but tin sheets on
