cemetary Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Tell you what Derek they didnt look like Natural ybs to me when they went through my table on Thurs and dont think much credit can be given to the man when he is only through at the weekends. What about giving some credit to whoever it is who is looking after and training these ybs week in week out. Bobby, yir right mate, credit where credit is due.

BLACK W F Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Interesting ask bernie woffiden who flew west and north which is the hardest route and bernie sits in an area nowhere near as tough ss ayrshire.yes he flew into one of the best if not the best positions in the north theres guys left the north and won nationals but none moved from south and won them up here thats fact
wee eck Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Still section F imo does the north section no stretch as far as thurso ? how could flying 200 miles less be the hardest ?
Henrik Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Conspiracy theories in force lol Billy had a fantastic race it's fact Billy flew natural young birds Fact lolDont have any conspiracy theories either Geordie, the man has had a fantastic race and well done to him, he came through this way to win a National, and it looks like he,s done just that.
frank-123 Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Dont have any conspiracy theories either Geordie, the man has had a fantastic race and well done to him, he came through this way to win a National, and it looks like he,s done just that. Well when you see him tell him every west section fancier is very very proud of his achievement flying with west section plodder's
frank-123 Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 does the north section no stretch as far as thurso ? how could flying 200 miles less be the hardest ? where does the west section stretch too? never said it was easy but with mostly west winds section F get it harder than the north section
wee eck Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 where does the west section stretch too? never said it was easy but with mostly west winds section F get it harder than the north sectionwe will just have to agree to disagree  for my info how far as the crow flies from edinburgh to the centre of section f
Dooheed 5 Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Interesting ask bernie woffiden who flew west and north which is the hardest route and bernie sits in an area nowhere near as tough ss ayrshire.Simple. put a line on a map from Reims,Clermont,Ypres up into Peterhead or fraserburgh and i dare you to tell me that is an easy route our doos are expected ti fly never mind the distance !!
Delboy Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 we will just have to agree to disagree  for my info how far as the crow flies from edinburgh to the centre of section fIts only 12 miles from Ayton to Elphinstone as crow flies and they are 50 minutes behind lol.Ignorance by fanciers is unreal re. location.Billy Bilsland stayed 500 yards from me when in the west section, he only got his turn at the yb nationals now and again, he would tell you that himself. He moved to Ayton to prove a point and by god, he didny half prove it, can you lads not read a result, year in year out you go on about the same P***.It shows ignorance about national racing, everybody knows location is the key to success.Think if some of the big guns moved east, embarrassment would be the end product for so called top fliers. The quicker the nationals were made fairer , the better.Fanciers in east lothian yesterday were quoted in saying, we have no chance against Duns, Ayton and Eyemouth, well its the same all the way through the country. There are good pigeons/fanciers everywhere, a level playing field is needed to really find out the true winners in a race.Billy Bilsland would tell you himself, he saw pigeons before he got his yesterday???Time to stop the nonsense about east/west/north/south, good fliers everywhere, but level playing field, no
