sapper its mental some people moving 2 miles in 5 hours i couldnt get to my work and have been digging ppl out all day in blantyre

My own son took 5 hours to get home with his taxi driver, another child that uses the same vehicle has just got home travelling 9 hours from 10.00 to 19.00.

Took me 3 1/2 hrs from Glasgow to Kilmarnock , an hour to cross the Kingstone bridge think I was one of the lucky ones.

just in fae work about half an hour,had tae walk from kirkintilloch to campsie and ma legs are sore,could not get ma car out of the work. <_<

finished work today at 14.00 in larkhall canderside never got home till 19.45 never seen anything like before just glad to get home in one piece

I've just seen the news and Scotland has it bad, the roads, airports and now fuel shotages we dont know what thats like down here. Its -4 in Manchester at the moment but the roads are clear, it should be getting warmer Thursday and Friday. I hope so i'm a bricklayer and not worked for 10 days because of ice and frost.

I saw that forecast and I'm not sure what to make of it. Warmth = thaw and with all snow & ice = flooding. Better look out your diving gear.

 

Don't like look of all that snow on roofs either - so be careful of domestic avalanches.
